GUT FEELINGS is an Adult Romcom where the humor and attitude of the chronically ill protagonist of GET A LIFE CHLOE BROWN combine with the salacious celebrity gossip and public scrutiny of ALL THE FEELS.
Chronically ill Molly is perfectly fine and definitely doesn’t need to attend a two-week luxury wellness retreat. But when she agrees to go to appease her best friend/boss, she finds an ally in indie rock superstar Eddie Bailey—who proposes they pretend to do the work as partners while actually pursuing outside projects. Molly agrees, but as Eddie gets under her skin, he shatters the defenses she’d carefully constructed after her ex shared mortifying stories of her Crohn’s flares on national television.
Suddenly, therapy doesn’t seem so bad. But with the retreat flying by and Eddie’s celebrity posed to thrust her back into the spotlight once she leaves, Molly must learn to embrace her authentic self and reclaim her narrative, or else risk losing the people who love her the most, including Eddie himself.

I started pursuing traditional publishing in 2019, but writing has always been a part of my life.
For a long time, loving writing so much made me feel like a bit of an oddity, but when I made my writing a priority, I discovered the wonderful community of writers online.
From 2019 to 2021, I wrote three YA Fantasy novels. In 2022, my third novel, ICEHEART, was chosen by author Ivelisse Housman for the Author Mentor Match Program.
Her suggestions helped me realize that to create the story I wanted, I’d need to do more than revise. So, in 2022, I rewrote ICEHEART. I didn’t expect to face several Crohn’s disease flares during the process, but I was grateful to have the release of writing—and to be able to create a character with parts of my disability (the chronic pain and fatigue).
In 2023, I wrote my first Adult Romcom, GUT FEELINGS, which features my first main character with Crohn’s disease. I had a blast venturing into a new genre I have long loved.
In 2024, I signed with my fabulous agent, Rebecca Matte of Bradford Literary Agency.
And here we are in 2025! I currently have two books on submission and am eagerly drafting more.
